okay

Kids going down memory lane and started finding a bunch of stuff including wrappers in their stuff. Why is their garbage in your closet? Guess it's equivalent to my junk drawer. I wonder what other people keep from when they were kids. I have my baby blanket still.

satisfaction

Finally down to one box of a mixed bag. I had boxes of stuff that included a junk drawer and it had stuff from a decade ago. I would shove stuff and paper in drawers, notes, flyers so random. Then never unboxed it all these years. Cleaning I like, organizing is avoided if I can keep a space clean in the first place....minus the closets....that's were no stored my boxes of stuff. Feels great to be almost done. Yay, I'm happy about that. I put everything on my bedside table and that forced me to look at it until I cleared the space. That's why I like minimalists, they don't have to organize anything! A little harder when you have kids in terms of using closet space. Cleaned it out so it can be used properly. Late fall clean and spring clean is so satisfying, to me at least. The only time I don't like cleaning is if my kids are in my space, I need space in order to be motivated to clean and organize. Otherwise I can't concentrate, I don't like to be interrupted. That's why things got shoved in the closet forever.

memory

Weird how a lot of things that were my favorite something from when I was a kid, it is hard to remember the names. It would help if it was in English. I remember dreaming in another language as a kid, that is a weird glitch in the matrix. Language is weird because every language has it's own personality beyond the culture.

When it comes to packaged food, the UK has the best quality standards. I think the US is second to them. I think it's important to make your own food or buy from the US most of the time in terms of keeping things within the local economy.

Cold weather equals treats in my book. I want cozy yummy treats.

language

Apparently everyone has a love language

Let's see...what's my love language?
Well one is food, hahaha. If any of my kids give me food to try...so I guess that counts as gift giving
Hmmm... definitely quality time

ramble

The thing that I hate about the cold specially is that if you have muscle injuries it hurts so bad. Seasonally, the perks are holiday movies! I didn't grow up watching many holiday movies but I do now. I grew up watching Disney movies but my kids not grow up watching those much. I remember going to blockbuster video. Wierd to think about now since you can buy everything online now. I remember people would go out to kill time. Now it seems no one has time to do everything so they do less of that. I guess it depends where you live.

I remember when I lived in California and it always seemed to be humming even if there was places with no traffic it was filled with people but in a good way. Funny now that I think about it, different parts of California have a different hum. It's warm year round, except for in the mountains. I'm not sure how that had changed or stayed the same but they need to get their forest back, all the forest fires are ruining the beauty of California.

...

Fires on California, it's going to look so ugly with all the forests burnt. No wonder people are moving to Texas..the weather is awful in the summer though, would not recommend. Sad for all the animals and everyone who has to loose their homes. Glad I'm not there but sad to see it loose so much

weird things

So growing up I used to gross out about hygiene, sure everyone can shower everyday to be hygienic BUT the same as cleaning my house, I've thought of efficient ways to do things with the least amount of "work", but actually total accidents!!!!!! My methods are fool proof, so I think, ha! I measure what "works" by determining if it's:

Not messy! (Not oily or pastey)
Cost effective!
Toddler friendly! (easy)
Not time consuming!
Etc.
Why?
Because I want it to be practical, useful and effective to my standards!

Some specific issues it addresses from my "epiphanies"

1) anyone with sensitive gums, I mean the MOST sensitive! I can make your mouth red carpet ready! I used to think I needed a firm toothbrush bristle, I don't. I used to think I needed to go get my mouth professionally cleaned, I don't! (Which is not kind to our teeth and wears down enamel because it's really abrasive) I used to think I needed to buy toothpaste, I don't. When you get sick the first sign of sickness is bad breath!

2) Even though I know body odor is common and often a sign to get your health in balance, I have also found a way to eliminate arm pit odor without deodorant!

Yes, you can eat and balance your health to smell nicer and some ways of doing that is cutting out gluten but for days you have someone else doing the cooking and it contains gluten, you have to reverse the damage. Also you can clear up your skin by eating well BUT I also found ways to pick blackheads without a gadget and without scarring your skin, which I failed at as a teen. My skin as a teen needed saving!

I think people aren't born bad they are just really sick, they had malnutrition, or other imbalance during childhood and they are stuck in old habits/choices. Either they don't know how to overcome or they are so lost to know that there is a less painful way of existing in the world. They've accepted what is currently their reality.

Example of health as a whole package. There are teachings of health and it's a mind and body journey, it's spiritual awakening for those who have felt changed by going to church, it's a mental healing through social community and by being in tune with how you live including what you eat. The community is like therapy, you go because you get feedback on your journey and progress, it keeps you on track and a sense of fulfillment.

Your face along in with your skin is a health map! Your organs health is mapped and shows up, you can dissect your heart, kidneys, and other organ health by looking at your skin and face!

As I write this I laugh because it sounds like a commercial, but that's how I describe stuff, ever since I was a kid and was excited about something or explained what I was thinking, it just how it gets described

connection

I don't understand how people can be horrible to another person and risk loosing a relationship, specifically family. I think it's sad that not all families are healthy. Isn't family supposed to be the glue? Strength?

We all have something we are good at. We can't be the best at everything. There is a struggle of sharing what I know with people and also avoiding doing so because they probably think they know it all or don't care. I think that is something my grandpa was good at, was seeing people's strengths and knowing what each person was put on this earth to do.

I think as a family unit, it should be solid. Unfortunately, it isn't always that way. People aren't always capable of not behaving badly, so it makes life a solo thing instead of a comraderi.

childhood

Auntie:

I like cats but then people started buying me everything with cats on it!!

My takeaway:

I better not tell people I like something, there is definitely a big difference between like and love, people tend to get carried away

Uncle:

I'm going back to Cali..Cali

Takeaway: uuhhhm...?? Lol...I don't think so

Parent:

Always going to the mall

My takeaway:

I'm gonna be sick, why do people drive so much? I have the nose of a pregnant lady, story of my life. Thank goodness for online shopping

Grandpa:

smiling wildly, I have some pie and cookies and cake for dessert (he doesn't) compensates his shenanigans with, do you want to go get some ice cream?

My takeaway: loving people is knowing what their love language is, everyone expresses it differently. I didn't eat much ice cream but he loved to go get ice cream, he was my best friend and was such a sweet soul, he was there for me. What is there not to love about the people who were there for you growing up?

There is so much learned or remembered in the little moments with people, even when you don't see how it will matter even years later. I think it's weird to see how different and similar people are. I'm always told how much people are the same but I see the differences that others don't notice. I used to draw a lot for my art class in highschool and there would be two portraits and if you can't capture the differences, no one will know who you have drawn if there isn't the detailed differences, even if they come from the same family, there are strangers that we resemble. No one is an exact copy of another. Mannerisms similar, looks similar, but different experiences and diversity is what makes the beauty of being born, so unique. The similarities are a nice reminder of the best parts of people you care about.

Toast to the new year!

Staying hydrated and making something new for kids to try are some of my simple new year's resolution.

Apparently, I should write down things I like so my family knows. I usually know what they like but I always want to know what food they eat regularly or on special occasions like their birthday.

When my kids have their birthday it's all about what cake or meals they are going to eat that day. It's fun to see which choices are similar or different with each kid.

how you can tell...

Love languages how you give or receive love with friends and family. You can tell who I care about if:

I've ever helped you with anything, showed you how to do something, such as cook or clean or shared my food with you

If I haven't spent much time with you, I probably have never been able to do this for you but it's how I show I care for those that I have been close to

Or took the time to talk to you, I'm super chatty if I haven't seen you in over a decade BUT I also know only like 3 people who I wouldn't want to talk to at all

My receiving love language is simple:

Don't be a jerk or fake, literally, that's it.

ee nee mee nee

What's your favorite food?

My taste hasn't changed much from when I was a child. Only difference is I like eating at home compared to when I was little, but that's probably because of my parents choices in food more than my own. I didn't learn to cook from them either. I remember my uncle and his girlfriend at the time showing me a few simple recipes that were good to make when you were hungry and lazy.

When I lived in California it was diverse in food options, but I have always been a picky eater. I think when I was in Monterey, I ordered artichoke soup, it was perfect. I used to eat an Asian soup that had meat in it, I haven't figured how I could recreate that without meat but it was my favorite meal when I was little, I only had it a few times a year. I liked vegan food specifically Hispanic cuisine/burritos. My earliest memory was eating stir fry and a children's combination plate at a Mexican restaurant when I was about 3 years old. I also remember eating lots of sticks of cheese, I feel bad for little me. I can't believe I ate so much darn cheese. Another memory was when I ordered a bento box at this restaurant in Santa Cruz and veggie sushi. I wouldn't eat raw fish much. I liked pickled ginger but would skip the wasabi.

Veggies, tofu, noodles, and fruit are what I am always in the mood for. Mostly savory dishes with a hint of heat, sweet, sour or salty.

My children are picky eaters but they also haven't had a lot of ethnic dishes like I have either, at least not yet. They like simple meals, so at least it isn't difficult to make everyday.

the way you look

You can alter your health in a negative way by getting plastic surgery.

I can look at a person's. Whole face and see how their health is. Even with major surgery, example: Michael Jackson

My favorite is looking at a picture of someone. Over time as you age, the body can change with extremes in hormones and your body will have a very specific look and your lifestyle shows up the most as you get older. Your body keeps a non biased record of you. Transparent and accurate.

I can tell if people are compatibility based off their face health. Friends, coworkers, and couples!

You can tell a woman's ability to give birth (the natural pain level) or fertility all from looking at the face. There is a reason why a doctor asks you to open your mouth and say ahhh! He is checking your state of health.

A lot of times people who have children when they are older don't consider their state of health as they get older as a reason why they experience miscarriage, preterm labor and even infertility. As well as increase in complications when giving birth. A high rate in c-sections in the US over any other developed country AND the highest mother infant mortality rate.

I personally have given birth and I remember hearing horror stories of every woman in my family who had a very bad experience with the labor and delivery experience. That is not okay and it's so wrong that we accept it as normal.

The few things that shouldn't happen when giving birth is inducing just for convenience. If you aren't experiencing delayed birth from your water breaking on its own, over 42 weeks, or have major complications during pregnancy, you should avoid getting petocin, it will cause a higher chance of complications during labor and delivery.

Your health before and during pregnancy will determine the ease and efficiency of giving birth. When you give birth, it's different with your comfort level, every time! I don't care if your children, or husband want to be in the room, if you get a sudden urge for them to leave the room, do it! I had one occurrence where I wanted to be alone, with my second youngest, I wanted complete darkness, door closed, I even said I would yell when I'm done. I wanted to be able to concentrate. A woman needs to be ablento listen to her body and it takes a lot of energy. So what she says goes. If she needs complete silence, just assume she does need that. If you aren't looking for ways to help or get out of the way, you shouldn't be in the room. I don't care how quietly she asks you to leave, you leave no questions asked. Every faint noise, temperature, blanket, etc could be a distraction!

Same with breastfeeding! Every time it can be very different! In order to get anything accomplished there is a need for space and privacy. I cannot stress that enough. It will make things actually doable. You can't expect it to be easy, it won't be if you don't allow for space and privacy.

I've been told I'm too nice. Looking at my face, I can see why people would say that. I am the type of person to be nice and not take their actions personally. Some people don't want to change for the better. That is not my problem, that's theirs. I am responsible for what I do, not what others choose to do. That is why everyone's life looks so different from each other. Some people really have nothing better to do than to look at what others are doing, that they do nothing productive. Just wasting theirs and other people's time. I'm responsible for raising my children and making sure they grow up healthy. Everyone older than me are just choosing to be the way they are. They've subconsciously chosen what their face looks like.

how you "speak"

Latest obsession is love languages.

What's yours? What do you need. Makes sense, compatibility is works best when things come natural to us. Each plant needs a different environments, cactus, trees, shrubs, grass, so do people.

Mental health is important and find out the love language of your family and friends

compilation

A toast to health

Your environment determines your health. That boils down to a few simple components: the quality, including the food you eat, the type of food and how it's prepared and your mindset literally. People who change beyond reaching adulthood is based on the environment in which they are in, including their thoughts. That's the difference between illness and longevity, as well as gracefully aging. There are things you can do to reverse aging including illness. Think of an animal, no one knows the age of an animal once it's no longer a baby unless it's on the brink of death. That's because they eat according to how their body is designed.

The difference between carnivores vs omnivores and herbivores are differences such as length of colon, size of incisors, and even acidity of stomach juices. The environment can change how a person's nose forms which directly can be affected by how one breathes. Each mammal or warm blooded animals nose is fit for the region in which they live and can change based on their lifestyle.

This does not change if you have plastic surgery. Notice how people who have plastic surgery to fix something, yet their face keeps growing a certain way, even afterwards? Probably not the best to get plastic surgery, especially while you are young, the body starts to short circuit a bit, unfortunately.

I just wanted to share my insight of all the things I've learned, across cultures what is consistent with health. In modern society it's all about cutting out the sickness or issue and in ancient civilizations it was about healing from the inside out. Your body keeps score and it doesn't discriminate based on your race. Slightly variations and environment also mutates based on environment, so you will see slightly exaggerated differences in remote villages where they have a concentrated way of living and usually unaltered lifestyle compared to the wide variety of modern changes.

You don't have to go back to the stone age but I'm convinced your health is dependent on the amount of garbage you throw away, lots of packaged foods are highly processed versions of food and we should avoid them as much as possible. For our health and our global health.

What will help
- Minimalist consuming examples:
- Capsule wardrobe
Vegan as much as possible 5 meals max per month that contains any animal products or ASK companies to not put dairy in their spaghetti sauce etc if you dont make your own
- floors that have rugs is better than wall to wall carpet
- skip using the dishwasher it wastes a lot of energy, I grew up using one but that's because I didnt have a way to wash them anyway else and there was a crap ton of dirty dishes before and after dinner (yes, literal nightmare)
- upcycle and only buy things that will be used and aren't going to be clutter
- meal plan! This is something I have not always done but for me, it's a life saver. Even if you just cook for yourself at least try it because there will be much less food wasted, food expires and you can reduce food being thrown out by planning out your weekly meals!
- people like to buy leather and specifically cheap leather is made out of stray dogs and even pets that company workers find in other countries, so what you buy really does matter!
- there are so many little things the add up to big changes
- I'm sure are a bunch more things that aren't currently on the tip of my tongue but every little baby step counts!
- remember environment effects your health, these changes matter. You can find variations of these standards in every religion across the globe, how they interpret them is vastly different but the direction is the same!

Autumn

Chilly weather equals fall clean. I like deep cleaning before the dead of winter and early spring. I have deep cleaned my pantry, bathrooms, and kids space so far. I still need to deep clean my kitchen and clean my closet space.

I detoxed from the world simply because it's hard to watch the world make decisions, that end up backfiring, so I just closed off from my normal need for world news. I hope current events will allow people to really care about their carbon footprint.

I understand that people don't see themselves as a participant in polluting the earth. I understand scare tactics don't work because that isn't how I'm convinced either. I'm always stuck between sharing all the better ways of doing something and remembering how stubborn people are and to not "waste" my time.

People are always going to do whatever they have decided to do. So knowing how I am, makes me close off to the world. I've come to terms that the majority of people aren't going to get me because they haven't spent much time with me while I was growing up. I'm a firm believer that people are always going to be the same, as when they were kids, on a human level. Also, knowing that they aren't going to get the bigger picture, solely because, people only see whatever they seek. That's it, that's the universal answer to every dilemma.

thoughts

I've come to realize that I avoid typical self care. So my new years resolution will be aimed at self care. I always start before the new year, so yes, I am aware that the new year is not even close to starting but I always like to start when I realize what I want to do that's new.

reflect

When I reflect back to when I was a kid. I couldn't imagine the world on edge like they are today. I would have hated being homeschooled. Summer break have felt even more non existent.....well sort of. I think I would have enjoyed time with my cousins more...maybe. I could see that being more common than it was. I can not imagine that happening.

People don't believe in global warming, they think it doesn't matter. More animals will be getting sick and more stronger strains of corona viruses will emerge. Bats have a higher temperature and sick bats dont have symptoms. Same with monkeys and HIV aids. Eating animals are causing diseases spread for humans. The flu comes from pork and poultry. People need to wake up to what factory farming and the high demand on meat and dairy products are doing to planet Earth. They pass it off as a joke. If the Country shut off travel when China had their pandemic, it wouldn't be able to spread to new York and Seattle like it has. If you are in denial, you can go volunteer at your local hospital that are taking covid positive patients.

If I was pregnant, especially a 1st time mom. I would be irritated at people's lack of concern. Pregnancy lowers your immune system. No matter how healthy you are, you are still vulnerable. Increase the contagious level and it's such a diservice to an expecting parent. There are children who weren't sick with something else but the virus exposed a weak part of their DNA and made them have a reaction. Or maybe someone had mild symptoms and the virus magnifies those symptoms on top of its own symptoms. The only reason why they shut each country was not enough information on the outbreak. It will hopefully make public places have higher standards now. Hard surfaces simple way to do that but retail with so much soft surfaces is impossible to keep sanitary.

China has a moral obligation more than ever to go vegan. They have a chance to make things right, have potential to be great and treat their people with dignity and need to take responsibility for their choices.

kids brain storming

I tell my kids if you don't offer a solution, you have no room to complain. That is something that I see a lot happen in the world today. They all pretend they want change but they don't share an idea that fixes anything, they just share a bandaid idea and then complain about it. No more slapping on a band aid! Either stand for something or sit down and stop complaining. Walk the walk, live by example. Make a change and live it fully.

So I told them what is something they would want to happen for the betterment of life, society etc. I'm hoping it inspires them to think deeply about their ideas and what they stand for.

My answer was if I was put in a department to help, I would probably choose school curriculums. I have a knack for design so it would have to be something that I could be the most useful doing. The school system is something that people keep throwing money at but the quality offered is inconsistent. What would you choose?
