crazy

You are crazy!

Now all the things that are "crazy" aren't considered crazy anymore

Homeschool
Meal planning
Spring clean and fall clean
Budgeting for the sake of being organized and mindful for the environment etc.
Vegan meal planning (as people now are unsure of how to go without meat in a pandemic)
Planning by season and need
Prioritizing, down sizing your belongings.

My kids don't even feel what others across the country are feeling. They haven't had their life disrupted at all (yet) we didn't have to worry about no toilet paper not being shipped online because during our fall clean we buy annually, the crucial items like toilet paper that we will need. Guess when you have a big family and having so many need to wipe their bottoms, well you just get it all at once instead of having to always think about it last minute. Same with having dry goods that you make normally. It doesn't require refrigeration and your family is accustomed to eating that way. Everyone having anxiety is my normal, everyone having anxiety is my normal "anxiety" just thinking about if their anxiety now was my anxiety even BEFORE a pandemic happened! It gives me anxiety to focus on getting things done so that my "anxiousness" subsides enough. I rather look crazy and have a sense of peace than to not do anything, I'm not a person that loves surprises.

Valid

People like to argue have no valid points are so irritating. That's a big reason why I don't like mingling with certain people. They aren't the brightest crayon in the box and it shows in what they choose to focus on. They have no original thought.

From their ideas on eating healthy to politics. Let me sum it up, example: just because you shop at whole foods does NOT mean everything there is healthy! Same with every other loaded word or whatever else people try to sell you on. You've been brainwashed. Vegan, vegetarian and plant based doesn't mean you are perfectly healthy. Do you look in the mirror and think you look like the image of the word healthy? In America probably not! If you look at a wild animal and the only time you can tell how old it might be is when it's an infant/baby and when it's on the brink of death! That's because it eats what it was designed to eat on its natural habitat. Anything you think about, if you can't effortlessly explain it to a child and they comprehend what you are saying, you don't know what you are talking about well enough to share it.

the norm

I find it interesting social norms don't already require 6+ feet in public. It's a good rule that I hope sticks.

People who meal plan buy ahead. It saves time and money and convenience by buying ONLINE!

I thought people would treat this as a time to enjoy spring cleaning. I guess only if they "have" to.

Local

I would buy online, then buy online through the direct seller when possible. Next is taking it one step further. Only buying local. A big but necessary step if we care about our future. Our planet deserves that. Local products, directly from the source. Luckily, I've narrowed down what I need to make everything my kids eat. Luckily, I didn't need to buy bigger sizes in clothes this year, I usually buy a few needed pieces the year prior. When I do, I make sure I check materials used and I keep track of their sizes because I create a capsule wardrobe for each kid.

Times

Times are changing.....

Changes for the future could be smaller stores and outdoor venues, more online shopping as the norm.

Homeschool as the norm (safety and accountability)

Better city/state/country/international planning also to include promoting more local products

More mindful purchasing (good for your wallet and the environment and your health)

Hobbies

I figure the only way I'm going to be able to dedicate time to my hobbies is to incorporate them by making gifts for my kids. This way I can do what I enjoy and they get lovely handmade gifts from me. While allowing for "me" time, by myself time! Win, win!

Smells of the holidays

It's on! Completed the wish list early! Bought most of the gifts, the season is off to a good start! The smells of the holidays are so perfect! Fall clean is also happening already! Yay! Stay warm is the name of the game. Hot cocoa, music, baking, and holiday movies with the kids are always my favorite!
